What is the purpose of the anti-legionella valve?

The anti-legionella valve ensures a continuous flow of water, thus preventing the proliferation of bacteria such as Legionella, which thrive in stagnant fluids.

The CIMM anti-legionella valve has been designed and developed to operate at a maximum working pressure of 10 bar and a maximum water temperature of 65°C. It converts a standard single-connection expansion tank into a flow-through expansion tank, thus preventing water stagnation that could lead to bacterial growth.
