Our History Expansion

Sergio Tegon, together with his wife Udilla Maria, founded CIMM (an acronym for Italian Metal Furniture Construction), an artisan metal furniture production for kitchens in their home garage. The success achieved in the 1960s led to the acquisition of the first warehouse, which is now the company’s historical headquarters. In 1967, the company expanded its business to include toilet flushing cisterns made of copper.

The CIMM brand was officially registered and became the acronym for Italian Metal Furniture Construction.

SSubsequently, after producing toilet flushing cisterns for bathrooms, Sergio Tegon started the development and large-scale production of expansion vessels.

By expanding its production line, CIMM became a well-known producer of large-capacity vessels for industrial applications.

Sergio Tegon, after 19 years as chairman, handed over the reins of the company to his sons Renzo and Paolo.

After the success of wall-mounted boilers, flat vessels became our best-selling product. CIMM expanded its sales network by entering international markets and participating in global expos.

To guarantee the product a high protection from oxidation and a finish aesthetic quality, CIMM realized the first epoxy powder painting plant.

CIMM acquired a second facility to expand the warehouse’s capacity.

The global spread of environmental anti-pollution policies and the European pro-green energy turnaround, lead to the development of SOLAR expansion vessels for solar energy systems.

CIMM invested in R&D with the automation and robotization of new production lines as a consequence of a raise in quality standards.

Since 2012, every year CIMM obtains CRIBIS Award, the recognition of maximum commercial reliability.

A leading company in the HVAC sector, CIMM has been a leader in quality of production processes, reliability and customer care for over 50 years.

Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the company ensured continuity of production, achieving record sales.

The company continues its development with an eye to the future.
